Our speaker, Edith Dryden worked for twenty years at the English L’Abri, ministering to students through hospitality, prayer, and many conversations over a cup of tea or on a long walk. Edith grew up in South Africa in a missionary family, establishing churches and schools in rural KwaZuluNatal. She studied Music, Philosophy, and English Literature at Potchefstroom University, and went to Covenant Seminary for a Masters in Theology. She then completed an advanced masters in Philosophy at the Free University in Amsterdam. She first met her husband, Dr Jeff Dryden, at Covenant Seminary and they also worked together at L’Abri in England. Edith currently works at Covenant College as the Associate Director of Women's Ministry and Discipleship.
