C.S. Lewis Reading Party

Sunday, November 24th at 5:30-7:00 P.M. at Anglican Church of the Redeemer

The 2019 Book of Common Prayer’s commemoration of C.S. Lewis gives us a wonderful excuse to get together to read and discuss some selected writings by this great Anglican saint of God who has made an impact on so many of us. After a chili hotdog dinner there will be activities in four different rooms.

Discussion Room: Read in advance Lewis’s book, The Screwtape Letters, and bring a favorite passage to share for group discussion.

Reading Room: Come hear, read, and discuss a short essay by Lewis.

Land of Narnia: Experience the wonder of The Chronicles of Narnia during this story time with an activity or two sprinkled in. One or both parents are encouraged to join their children for a shared experience. (This is likely the best room for children at least three years of age.)

The Wardrobe: Children 3 and under can play, work on a craft, and enjoy a Narnia board book.
